Are you juggling more than 100 items on your to-do list? Did 1MTD still leave your inbox out of control? If either are true then yes, you need MYN. But if your to-do list is under 100 items, start with 1MTD instead, it’s much easier to use. Here’s a 60-second quick start for 1MTD.

2) Determine Your To-Do List Software. Assuming you know you need MYN, next decide on which to-do list software to use. Do you need to manage to-do’s in Windows Outlook, or are you open to something else? If you can avoid Windows Outlook for to-do’s (you can still use Outlook for e-mail), then MYN is fairly easy to start with by following instructions in chapter 9 of the book The One Minute To-Do List and using the free software Toodledo. Get a complimentary PDF download of that short book here, and then study the Toodledo sections through chapter 9. Or take the short One Minute To-Do List video class—it presents the book in video form, and leads you all the way to a simple version of MYN. Or even consider the longer Full MYN Toodledo Video Training. But if you must use Outlook for your to-do’s, read next.

3) If you must use Outlook for your to-do’s, MYN is a bit tougher when using Outlook. At minimum, plan on studying about three hours of material using my MYN Outlook Complete Video Course. Or self-study my Outlook book (studying that book takes longer than studying the videos, but it’s much less expensive).

That’s it! That’s how to get started with MYN. If you want to learn more about the differences between MYN and 1MTD, see this link.
