He show you one way to set up RTM. While I greatly prefer ToodleDo over RTM (due to support of start dates and many other reasons), if you are a die-hard RTM user, this note will be helpful.<\/p>\n<p>Michael<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Hi, Michael:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">I bought your book for my Kindle app in my iPad2 and I like it very much.\u00a0For years I&#8217;ve been using GTD, complex Outlook task and flags management, AutoFocus 4 logs, etc. and after using your MYN these weeks I feel much more effective, much less stressed and simply better and happier professional.Thank you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">I&#8217;m using Remember The Milk for iPhone\/iPad\/browser and I&#8217;m very happy with it. I&#8217;d like to share with you how is my set up.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><!--more-->I have 2 lists:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">1.\u00a0Now Tasks (for &#8220;page #1&#8221; of your system)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The tasks are ordered by priority. I use priority 1 (red) for my weekly SOC&#8217;s of the week, and priority 2 (blue) for <strong>Critical Now<\/strong> tasks. The tasks on <strong>Oportunity Now<\/strong> list have no priority.\u00a0I don&#8217;t use the <strong>Target Now <\/strong>list, but it&#8217;s easy to implement with priority 3 (light blue).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">With your recomendation about due dates, I rarely use them now, and when a task has a due date I type it in the name of the task.\u00a0Now I&#8217;m using due dates in RTM as start dates, to implement Defer-To-Do, Defer-To-Review and Follow-Up tasks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">So I&#8217;ve created an smart search for this list that doesn&#8217;t show me the tasks with start date in the future. This is the seach:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>list:&#8221;Now Tasks&#8221; AND (dueBefore:today OR due:today OR due:never)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">I&#8217;ve saved it as &#8220;Now Tasks Filtered&#8221; and it&#8217;s what I use daily.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">2. Over the horizon (for &#8220;page #2&#8221;)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">I use this list as your basic recommendation.
